Back in 2018, we, Chetan and Chandray, started exploring the Amazon ecosystem with a simple goal: understand how brands actually grow on marketplaces, not just how they advertise.

Early on, Chandray worked closely with Amazon sellers at a small agency, managing brand accounts, optimizing listings, and learning the operational side of marketplace growth. That hands-on experience became the foundation for what would later evolve into Vaas Media.

Soon after, we launched our own private label brand on Amazon India. The brand scaled successfully and earned Amazon Best Seller recognition in its category. More importantly, it gave us firsthand experience in product positioning, conversion optimization, inventory pressure, advertising efficiency, and the realities of building a brand inside a competitive marketplace.

Like many businesses, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to pause our brand operations. Instead of stepping away, we used that period to deepen our understanding of marketplace behavior, platform shifts, consumer demand patterns, and performance marketing systems while continuing to support local sellers.

By 2022, we had started helping a handful of D2C brands grow through Amazon-focused strategy and advertising. In 2023, we officially launched 0too1 with a performance-first approach focused on helping brands scale through data-driven execution.

Later that year, we expanded internationally through Fiverr, working with brands across the USA, UK, Canada, and other global markets. That exposure helped us strengthen our operational systems and deepen our understanding of cross-marketplace growth.

In 2025, 0too1 evolved into Vaas Media, reflecting a broader vision built around visibility, performance, and scalable growth systems for modern brands. Today, we work with brands across marketplaces and digital channels, combining human strategy with AI-enabled execution to help businesses scale more efficiently.

Our journey has never been about being the biggest agency. It has been about building systems that create measurable growth, long-term partnerships, and results that hold up over time.
